Previous Layouts

Due to my laziness, I've stopped keeping track with the previous layouts. I've decided to try this again, and continue on updating this section. All the images were captured using an Internet Exlporer browser.

Title: The walls of grief are being piled up
Feautures: Shino from .Hack//Roots
Description: There were supposed to be two characters, Haseo and Shino, however, this layout was made by pure accident, and my twenty-four hours of vectoring Haseo was pointless. I did the layout twice, since the first version was pretty small for the content, and visitors would have to do more scrolling than usual. Personally, I love the color combination of the purplish blue and pinkish red for the background. The coding wasn't too difficult, because I used the Xenosaga layout as reference. The layout was inspired by the ending theme of the anime, Boukoku Kakusei Catharsis by Ali Project.

Feautures: Naoto Shirogane from Persona 4
Description: It took me about two days to vector the image (the character's full body), and another day to code the layout, because I was trying to figure how and where I wanted the navigation and the content. I wasn't going for fancy, but something simple. I was fond of the layout even though it was supposed to be temporary.

Title: I will stay here, only for the sake of drying your flowing tears
Feautures: Ayato and Meshima from Rahxephon
Description: I wanted to use an anime that was not so well known. I used a scan of Ayato and Meshima and vectored it. It actually took me a little of a month due to my lack of inspiration. I wanted to make it seem as if they were in the sky, but in the end I got a very dark theme. Unfortunetly, it was a short lived layout.

Title: Der Wille zur Macht
Feautures: KOS-MOS from Xenosaga
Description: I've done a simple blend with KOS-MOS and a scan I had. Seletive Coloring was used in to make KOS-MOS' eyes stand our more. I used drop down menus for the navigation and the height of the content was smaller than usual. There were some frustrations here and there when I was coding it, but in the end, it was my most satisfying work.

Title: Persona 3 FES
Feautures: Protagonist from Persona 3
Description:I can't really pick out the word on how I felt about the artwork, but it was mesmerizing. Beacause of that, I ignored the use of textures and brushes. I used some selective coloring and faded the image border. I then added backround pattern and gradient to make a nice affect for the background. The CSS was what made be enjoy the layout. However, I only have the header saved, and you won't be able to see it.
